Can i just express to you how much i love Nat King Cole? his voice is like warm honey. like warm honey being drizzled into my ear while i rest my head upon a loving, cozy lap. which may sound gross, but not gross at all if it were Nat's lap i was resting my head upon.
I'm compiling and listening to my wedding playlist.
you know, i never wanted anything but a summer wedding, but listening to all these songs of the holiday season are really helping me to warm up to a cold winter wedding. i love christmas, i always have. i usually start listening to christmas music... actually right about this time every year. but only a handful of days per month. until the day after thanksgiving, and then, you can scrooge all you want but wherever i am, that music will be PLAYED. and LOUD. i love it!

It's funny to think about, actually. Last year, i would have never suspected to be married for the next christmas, and my mom always told me how hard your first christmas is out on your own. but all i am is excited!
