Kade has been growing a beard for about two weeks. He got it looking pretty good too, nice and full, and manly. But it drove him absolutely crazy with all the itching, so he was perplexed as to whether to keep it, or shave it off.
As you can see, losing such a magnificent characteristic of your personal self could potentially be devastating to morale, and views of one's self-worth. However, Kade came up with a plan; a plan to have his cake and eat it too.
He trimmed it down to a cooperative length, and smothered on some shaving cream.
Just check out that grin, he's definitely got something under his... hypothetical sleeve.
Checking to make sure it's exactly perfect and just what he wants...
And just look at that boy SMILE. What a perfect solution!
Just kidding. He wanted to shave it all off, but couldn't resist the opportunity for "father-son mustache" portraits.
A chip-off-the-old-block as they say. Maybe if Kade had spent a little more time doing yard-work in the blazing summer sun, they'd look identical.
After pictures, we went to my mom's house to show my family, and then came back to H-ville where Kade promptly shaved the rest of it off.
Now he's working on getting back his goatee.
