In honor of Halloween, we decided to watch a bunch of scary movies this month! Kade found this movie called El Orfanato, or the orphanage. All in Spanish, with English subtitles, made originally in Mexico. I think they have an American remake, but it's probably not as good.
Anyway, Kade LOVED it.
There was one part in particular that he rewound over and over and over again, I'm sure if you watch it you'll figure out which scene it was.
Boy did he get a kick out of it!
So if you're looking for a good scare, with a wholesome ending and some pretty surprising events along the way, this is the movie for you.
(it's also good if you're the kind of horror movie watcher that sometimes has to plug your ears and close your eyes in order to get through a movie, because if you don't speak spanish, you only have to close your eyes!)
...Benigna?
