Tonight I decided to try my luck at making a delicious pumpkin pie. I had high hopes for this pie, I had visions of myself as a Julia Child of sorts-- frittering around in the kitchen, throwing into a bright yellow bowl handfuls and pinches and snippets of spices and things, mixing them up and throwing it all into an oven eventually to pull out the most exquisite aromatic pumpkin delicacy.
However, this was not in my cards. Try as I did to surprise Kade with this amazing new talent of making the very kind of pie he loved so much--I just don't know what happened.
