2013

Here's to the start of 2013. The year with the most potential to bring significant changes to our little family. The year we find out if and where Kade gets accepted to PT school. The year of the packing, prepping, and the de-cluttering. The year of the uhaul. The year of 25 and 23 and 2. The year of making new friends in a new place. The year of branching out and being on our own.
The whole idea makes my muscles constrict and my lungs breathe easier at the same time.

2012 was a good year, yes. But 2013 is definitely the year of looking forward. And I am looking forward to this year.

Kade leaves for Cullowhee in a little less than two weeks. He's on the phone with Baylor in a little less than four. San Marcos will get back with him sometime in between. January has us living our lives on the edges of our seats.

But despite the stress and anxiety, I do believe this is a very exciting time for our little family. Everything and anything is possible right now. We could be moving to the east coast, the deep south, the pacific northwest, or Pocatello. Heck, we could possible stay right where we are (but cross your fingers we won't). Jonah is learning so many new tricks and is growing so quickly. I predict we three kids see a lot of changes this year.

Hopefully they will be welcome changes--but if by chance they're not, well, we'll be better for them anyway.
