So I was reading an article on "Mormon mommy bloggers" and while I'm not a mommy yet, it did spark in me the desire to create the perfect chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting.
(because according to the article, cupcakes are part of the domestic-mormon-blogger charm)
(which I think I need more of)
(also, new years resolutions are proving to be harder this year than most, so heck, why not?)
So I bought some decorating tips, whipped up some cake batter (from scratch! mother had no boxes), and threw together some cream cheese, powdered sugar and food coloring and we had ourselves a rather grand night.
I think we did a pretty good job :)
